The Birth of A Nation – A Hindi Movie Review
The first few minutes of 1337X Hindi movies make one feel like they have stepped into another time. The color palette is rich and the sounds are crisp. The only sounds that could create an effect on one would be those of nature and wildlife. It is like we are on a different planet, but our hero, played by Akshay Kumar, doesn’t seem to notice. This Hindi movie, directed by S.S. Rajamouli has one of the best casts ever in Hindi films.
This movie is about reincarnation
As the name suggests, this movie is about reincarnation. There are five main characters and they all have different reasons for doing what they do. The movie is a great example of how cinema should be. It has many genres such as action, comedy, drama and even thriller. It has a mixture of all these genres in one movie and it manages to create a likable character.
Once you start watching the movie, you will understand 1337.x movie what makes the hero (actor Akshay Kumar) so likable. He never gives up, he doesn’t waver, and he always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Akshay’s character may look a little odd in the beginning, but once you get to know him better, you find that he is actually a genius.
It is a rare movie where you don’t love the villain too much. Some movies where you dislike the bad guy, you can’t help but root for them. Not here. This movie is about a good guy who does bad deeds, but he is good at the same time.
The story revolves around a man called Ashok
The story revolves around a man called Ashok (Abraham Attah), who is from a remote village. People here do not understand him and do not think highly of him. One day, a girl whom Ashok likes goes missing. On her way to a new home, she tells her father about her plans to marry an Astraya (nickname for a tribal woman).
When her father finds out, he begins to emotionally torture Ashok. He threatens to reveal his marriage to his daughter if the latter does not return. Ashok decides to go on a search for his girl and after much searching, he finds the girl in the forests. The movie ends with him bringing the girl back to his village.
There have been many sequels to this movie. However, most of these are not good. Most of them have poor acting, sound, and screenplay. That is why I prefer the Hindi movies that I saw two decades ago when I was a child.
The movie is not as long as its storyline might seem. The running time is only about 90 minutes long. But when you watch it, you will remember how short it is and appreciate the message it conveys. In other words, it is worth a watch even if you only have thirty minutes free.
Movies regarding Hindu mythology and spirituality.
It is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, who is known for his movies regarding Hindu mythology and spirituality. However, The Birth of A Nation was the first time he tried to tackle a story regarding a caste system. He succeeds in this movie by creating an intelligent plot and great characters. However, the movie is not as politically correct as some people might like. The language is sometimes harsh and at times, it is too explicit.
Despite this, the movie has a very gripping and poetic storyline. It takes you into the world of Bollywood, where special effects and special shots are the order of the day. The songs are very fresh and have a beautiful rhythm. I especially love the song, “Chak De! Bang De!”
This movie has one of the best opening sequences you can ask for. The movie has some excellent fight scenes between the good guys and the bad guys. The martial arts sequences are especially good. The special effects are realistic and spectacular.
Conclusions
Overall, The Birth of A Nation is well worth a look. However, due to its mature content and some graphic violence, it is not suitable for children. In my opinion, it would not be a good watch for those who are looking for a spiritual Hindi movie with some beautiful animation and story. However, if you are a fan of Hindi movies, then this movie should be a definite must-see.
